Two desolated towers are located atop the two eastern hills of Pyrgoussa, spaced 1 km apart.

They are built from dacite boulders (the rock constituent of the islet) according to the ashlar building technique; they are probably part of the same surveillance system as the Katero and Dracospilo towers.

Locals refer to them as the ‘upper’ and the ‘lower’ tower.

Dimensions of the ‘upper tower’ are 9.35 Χ 8.80m by 6.61 m high.

Dimensions of the ‘lower tower’ are 14.41 Χ 14.41m by 3.08 m high.
