/Monastery-of-Our-Virgin-Lady-19.jpg)
The route cross the eastern slopes of the volcano, ending at the most attractive beaches of the island. Begins at the splendid Monastery of Panayia Kyra, with idiosyncratic architecture and a unique interior atmosphere. Hundert meter before the parking place of the monastery on the right side you will find the junction where mostly is fullfilled by old brushwood to avoid the possibility be driven by car.
The road is possible to be driven by jeep too, but is not so very easy and some parts are collapsed . is one of the most intact part on the island, probably because not cultivable. It crosses on top of the products of the first major eruptions of Nisyros, scoriae, pumice stone and ash, which is even found in the neighboring island of Tilos.

Once arrived to lies is possible to take a refreshment bath on the beach or follow right up and take the pathway which leads to Pachia Ammos which begins at the end of the road at the gate on the parking place. After 20 minutes walking you arrive at the most beautiful sandbeach on the island (from end of july till end of agoust fullfilled with young people they camp in). From the middle of the beach behind the trees begins the pathway which leads to the previous route( on the file you can download from this site i walked some step more to have the possibility to see the both beaches from above with a wonderful view of the cliff), the route ends again in Panagia Kyra.
