Board a boat on Kardamena and sail to the picturesque volcanic island of Nisyros. Reach the island’s characteristic harbour after about an hour’s journey and discover the traditional way of life and authentic character of the island.
The bus will then take you on a winding road to Europe’s largest accessible volcanic crater. Along the way, admire a rugged landscape of strange trees and bushes on one side and views of the sea and surrounding islands on the other. Once at the top, you will be able to observe the crater of the active volcano, with a diameter of 4 kilometres, and be captivated by an incredible moonscape.
In the afternoon, stroll through the alleys of Mandraki harbour, enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the many tavernas or visit the famous monastery. Be seduced by the magic of the island.
